Publication Ethics
Nusantara Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Innovation (NJNMI) is committed to upholding the highest
standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any form of
publication malpractice, in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the
Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The publication of articles in NJNMI reflects
the quality of scholarly work and contributes to the development of credible scientific
knowledge; therefore, all parties involved in the publishing process—authors, editors,
reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to adhere to ethical standards. Authors must
ensure that their work is original, properly cited, free from plagiarism, fabrication, and
falsification, and that all contributors are appropriately acknowledged, while also
disclosing any potential conflicts of interest and promptly reporting errors if discovered.
Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions based on academic merit,
maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring a rigorous peer review process without
conflicts of interest. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely
evaluations, maintain confidentiality, and disclose any conflicts that may affect their
judgment. The publisher, CV Sultan Ali Cipta Jaya, supports editorial independence and
ensures that ethical standards are consistently applied while maintaining the integrity of
the academic record. In cases of suspected misconduct, including plagiarism, data
fabrication, or unethical research practices, NJNMI will take appropriate actions such as
manuscript rejection, article retraction, or notification to relevant institutions. This policy
ensures that all publications in NJNMI maintain integrity, transparency, and high academic quality.
