Focus and Scope
Nusantara Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Innovation (NJNMI) (e-ISSN: xxxx-xxxx) focuses on the publication of high-quality research and scholarly works in the fields of nursing and midwifery, particularly those addressing current issues, innovations, and evidence-based practices in clinical and community settings, both in Indonesia and globally. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Clinical Nursing: adult nursing, pediatric nursing, geriatric nursing, critical care, emergency nursing, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Community and Public Health Nursing: community-based interventions, family health nursing, health promotion, disease prevention, and community empowerment.
- Maternal and Child Health: antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, neonatal care, child health services, and maternal health outcomes.
- Midwifery Care and Practice: normal and high-risk pregnancy management, midwifery care models, continuity of care, and women-centered care.
- Reproductive and Women’s Health: family planning, reproductive health services, adolescent reproductive health, and gender-based health issues.
- Nursing and Midwifery Education: curriculum development, teaching strategies, competency-based education, and clinical training.

NJNMI encourages interdisciplinary research and welcomes contributions that provide
practical implications for clinical practice, education, policy development, and healthcare
services improvement in nursing and midwifery.
