Author Guidelines
- General Requirements
Nusantara Public Health Journal (NPHJ) welcomes the submission of high-quality manuscripts in the field of public health. Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts must be written in English using clear and academic language, with a typical length of 10–15 pages including tables and references, and formatted using Cambria font according to the journal template .
- Title and Author Information
The manuscript should include a concise and informative title not exceeding 20 words, followed by complete author information including full names, affiliations, and the corresponding author’s email address.
- Abstract and Keywords
The abstract must be written in English, single-spaced, with a maximum of 200 words, summarizing the background, objectives, methods, and main findings of the study. It should be followed by a maximum of four keywords.
- Introduction
The introduction should be presented in a clear, systematic, and comprehensive narrative supported by empirical data, relevant theories, and applicable policies. It must highlight the research gap and explain the significance of the study, ending with the research problem, objectives, and expected contributions.
- Methods
The methods section must describe the research design, approach, setting, population and sample or informants, sampling techniques, inclusion and exclusion criteria, data collection procedures, instruments used, validity and reliability or trustworthiness, data analysis techniques, and ethical considerations. This section should be written in a detailed narrative to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Results and Discussion
results and discussion should be presented in an integrated manner, clearly describing findings supported by data and interpreting them critically by linking to relevant theories and previous studies. Authors should highlight the contribution, implications, and limitations of the study.
- Conclusion
The conclusion should summarize the main findings concisely, directly addressing the research objectives and emphasizing the contribution of the study. Brief recommendations may also be included.
- Suggestion
This section should provide practical recommendations for stakeholders or related parties based on the research findings.
- Acknowledgment
Authors should acknowledge all parties who contributed to the research, including institutions, funding bodies, and participants.
- References
References must consist primarily of recent sources within the last 10 years, with a minimum of 15 references, and must be formatted using IEEE citation style in numerical order. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal submission system. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submissions comply with the journal guidelines and formatting requirements prior to submission.
