ABDIMAS Nusantara: Journal of Community Engagement and Health
Empowerment (ANJCHE) implements a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation. Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:

  1. Initial Screening

The submitted manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to ensure its alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as compliance with the submission guidelines and formatting requirements.

  2. Plagiarism Check

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to assess the level of similarity. Manuscripts with a high similarity index may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.

  3. Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

  4. Review Process (Double-Blind Review)

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific contribution, research methodology, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field of public health.

  5. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor will make one of the following decisions:

    • Accept without revision
    • Accept with minor revisions
    • Accept with major revisions
    • Reject
  6. Revision by Authors

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the reviewers’ and editor’s comments within the specified timeframe.

  7. Re-evaluation (if necessary)

Revised manuscripts may be sent back to the reviewers to ensure that all concerns have been adequately addressed.

  8. Final Decision and Publication

The editor makes the final decision on the manuscript. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout, and publication.

The peer review process at ANJCHE is conducted professionally, transparently, and in accordance with ethical standards in scholarly publishing to ensure the quality and credibility of published articles.
